@jchaac: You probably just need to set the permissions on the file with your FTP application or your hosting control panel File Manager.

See the default theme style.css permissions and set the same for Balance Black.

I really liked the themes. There’s just one thing… after downloading balance black, Wordpress (2.3.2) tells me it can’t read the style.css file. Therefore, I can’t install it.

I opened the style.css file with dreamweaver and had no problem… Do you have any idea why Wordpress isn’t letting me install your theme?
